OUR MISSION
We're looking towards becoming a climate active company this year. Our 2024 goals are stepping stones to making that happen.
We aim to understand how our suppliers are mapping their carbon footprint and gain an understanding of their renewable energy sources — for example, solar panels and water recycling.
We want to ensure that all our suppliers are ISO 14001 2015 certified. This is an Environmental Management Systems certification meaning they follow an international green standard of improving their use of resources and reducing.
Currently three out of our six suppliers are certified, and by March 2024, all six will be.
One of our factories also has zero emissions production and is applying for Net Zero certification.
This year we aim to map the supply chain for our gemstones, as well as our recycled metal sources (our tier two suppliers). A longer-term goal will be to fully understand mine origins.
We joined this organisation at the start of 2023 and this year we'll be developing a sustainability report and goals linked to the principles of UN Global Compact. We'll be delivering communication of our progress to the UN annually.
We'll also be working to ensure the remaining two of our six suppliers also join us to become members.
Using recycled metals is at the core of all our new designs. We already use 100% gold vermeil, sterling silver, and solid gold; this year we're aiming to add 100% recycled brass to the production of our gold plated and silver plated jewellery.

We're exploring greener delivery options for all customer shipped orders. We understand it's not enough to offset our current delivery emissions, so we're aiming to be active in finding lower emission options with our courier partners.
The beauty of jewellery is there is inherent value in the materials; every piece can be re-purposed to create something new. This year we're aiming to ensure our deadstock is either re-used, re-purposed, donated or upcycled into new designs, with the remaining pieces scrapped and turned into recycled metals.
We'll be extending our upcycling projects, donating even more jewellery to charities, and sending any remaining un-usable stock to be scrapped into new recycled metals.
