Meaning Matters
The ‘In Good Hands' emblem represents our acceptance of others and ourselves. In Georgian jewellery clasped hands were used to represent friendship and love. With our hands we can link together and raise each other up high. Wearing the necklace is a symbol of self-love and expression. As we celebrate re-emergence after the pandemic, we are drawn to pieces that speak to connection, identity, and something bigger than ourselves.

Behind the Design
While the chains might change, the iconic symbol always remains the same. Two Georgian-inspired hands come together in the pendant, each holding a twisted ring. Incredibly intricate, each cuff has been illuminated with white pearl cabochons and features a ring with a black onyx gemstone. It’s all in the detail.

The Journey of In Good Hands
Our partnership with fashion designer and pioneer of gender-fluid design, Harris Reed, has gone from strength to strength – beginning as a friendship – leading to a collaboration and into best selling jewellery loved by VIPs and you alike.
Since the launch of Harris Reed x Missoma in September 2021, the In Good Hands necklace has meteorically risen, becoming one of the pieces we’re known for. The ‘In Good Hands’ emblem even appeared in Harris Reed’s 2022 London Fashion Week show entitled 60 Years A Queen, inspired by Sir Herbert Maxwell’s book of the same name. After the sustainable triumph that was his first LFW show, which saw Reed upcycle Oxfam wedding dresses into intricate lace outfits, this collection was fashioned from 100-year-old Italian upholstery. It was also worn by Kendall Jenner on the cover of Pop Magazine.
Fast forward to September 2022, and we reimagined the symbol in silver with our Anniversary Collection. And in 2023, due to popular demand, we launched our best selling In Good Hands beaded gemstone styles. We can’t wait to see where this design goes next.
